Who says fashion can’t be comfortable? Brooke Shields just took comfort to a whole new level at the 77th annual Tony Awards, ditching the tall heels for a pair of America’s iconic shoe: Crocs. The famous model, 59, took to the red carpet in a sparkling, bright yellow sleeveless dress accessorized with large pearl earrings, a shining gold clutch, and bracelets on her left wrist. Her glam included slicked-back straight hair with a middle part, in line with Shield’s new haircare company named Commence, and a glowing matte makeup look. And, of course, glaring yellow Crocs.

Shields’ rocked the brand’s Unisex-Adult Classic Clogs in the color lemon — perfectly matching the color of her gown. According to the shoes’ description, they are lightweight, simple to clean (just soap and water), and easy to slip on and off. The price point is normally $49.99, but there are select discounts of up to 47% for certain sizes available on Amazon. Crocs has no shortage of color options for the Unisex-Adult Classic Clogs, spanning from basic white to neon watermelon—for the summer months, obviously. And no, The Blue Lagoon actress didn’t put them on ‘sport mode’ this time around (AKA she didn’t put the ankle strap around the back of her ankle, which customers often joke about with Crocs).
It turns out, though, that there is a reason Shields didn’t go for a traditional luxury shoe, aside from just the impeccable fashion statement. The Mother of the Bride star recently endured a double foot toe surgery, poking fun at her ‘feet pics’ on an Instagram post just a day before the Tony Awards took place. She told PEOPLE while walking the carpet, “I got my Crocs! I couldn’t do this in heels!”
